MIX 100 COLORS! Take on this challenge of paint-mixing magic to create 100 different colors.
NO ORIGINAL PAINT FROM BOTTLE ALLOWED! The “Rules”: 1. Colors must be mixed… no using them straight out of the bottle! 2. Leave a little white space around each color. and most importantly….. 3. No washing your brush! To clean your brush, simply wipe it on the towel, rag, or scrap paper. The point of NOT rinsing your brush in between paint mixing colors is to create even more unique and new colors you'd probably never mix before! FOR EXTRA FUN: Pick your FAVORITE new color and give it a fancy and fun COLOR NAME! Have fun and good luck! |
Artist Inspo: Jim Dine (Hearts)A self-described romantic artist, Dine has embraced the heart as a template through which he can explore relationships of color, texture, and composition. Dine's dynamic repetition of a condensed visual vocabulary has redefined the once-common heart as a personal symbol for the artist. What materials can you use to make your own heart art? Is your heart 2D or 3D? Is your heart smooth or textured? How many colors did you use to create your heart? Use your imagination and get creative!
