Read the poem assigned to your group individually.
Then, read the poem again aloud as a group. Identify words in the poem that make you think of pictures or symbols. CIRCLE or UNDERLINE those words! Don’t be too literal...or maybe DO think literal! Think of words in the poem that are abstract but can also illustrated through line, color, shapes, etc. As a team, you must ILLUSTRATE your poem on a large piece of white butcher paper. When the timer is up, you must creatively present to the class your poem and then reveal your illustration! |
One point perspective |
One point perspective is a drawing method that shows how things appear to get smaller as they get further away, converging towards a single ‘vanishing point’ on the horizon line. It is a way of drawing objects upon a flat piece of paper (or other drawing surface) so that they look three-dimensional and realistic.

2. Practice writing the alphabet at least a few times. TAKE YOUR TIME. You can spend a couple of classes practicing before you submit your final picture, so please take your time. 3. Write your full name or a short quote or an inspirational saying that you like in calligraphy writing. |
